அஃது ஒரு கனவுக் காலம்.
It is now like a dream.
I came to Seychelles in 1984 as a UN/FAO consultant.
I didn’t know that Tamils would be there. Tamils as first settlers are continuously living there for past 200 years.
ஐநா ஆலோசகராகச் சீசெல்சுத் தீவுக்கு நான் 1984 தையில் வந்தேன்.
அங்கு தமிழர் இருப்பர் என அறியேன்.
200 ஆண்டுகளாக அங்கு தமிழர் வாழ்ந்து வந்தனர்.
கத்தோலிக்கர்களுக்கு தேவாலயங்கள் பல.
முகமதியர்களுக்கு அழகான மசூதி.
சீனப் புத்தர்களுக்கு எழில் விகாரம்.
இந்தியக் கூர்ச்சரர்களுக்குச் சுவாமி நாராயணன் திருக்கோயில்.
ஆதிக்குடியேற்றவாசிகள் சைவத்தமிழர். அவர்களுக்குக் கோயிலே இல்லை.
Catholics have many churches.
A beautiful mosque for Mohammedans.
The Chinese Buddhists have a Vihara.
Swami Narayanan Temple for Indian Gujarathis
The original settlers were also Saivites. They had no temple.
சுபாஷ் பிள்ளையும் சிவா பிள்ளையும் என்னிடம் வந்தனர் முறையிட்டனர்
1 5 1984இல் என் தலைமையில் தலைநகரத்தின் பிரிமியர் கட்டட அறையில் தொடக்கக் கூட்டம்.
இரண்டு ஆண்டுகள் கடுமையாக உழைத்தேன். சைவத்தமிழர் வீடுகள் ஒவ்வொன்றுக்கும் சென்றேன். சீசெல்சு இந்துக் கோயில் சங்கத்தின் உறுப்பினர் ஆக்கினேன்.
தீவின் சைவத்தமிழரின் கனவை நனவாக்கக் கால்கோள் அமைத்தேன்.
நடுநகரில் அழகான உயர்ந்த கோபுரத்துடன் அருள்மிகு நவசக்திப் பிள்ளையார் கோயில்.
Subhash Pillai and Siva Pillai came to me and complained.
On 1.5 .1984, I organised the inaugural meeting under my chairmanship at the premier building in the capital.
I worked hard for two years. I went to each and every one of the Saiva Tamil houses to make each household, a member of the Seychelles Hindu Koil Sangam, I founded.
Consequently Graceful Navashakthi Pillaiyar temple with a beautiful tall Gopuram is now in the city center.

நேற்று 18 11 2022 வெள்ளிக்கிழமை மாலை திருக்கோயிலில் சிறப்பு வழிபாடு.
பின்னர் மண்டபத்தில் எனக்கு வரவேற்பு.
சீசெல்சுக்கு இம்முறை என்னை அழைத்து வந்த பெருந்தகை, இந்து மக்கள் கட்சித் தலைவர் அர்ச்சுனன் சம்பத்து அவர்களும் பாராட்டு மழையில்.
As the founder of the Sangam, and as the one who set up the base and platform to buy the land, I was honoured yesterday 18 11 2022 Friday evening at a special prayer at the temple, and at a welcome function at the hall.
Hindu Makkal Kadchi leader Arjun Sampath, who brought me to Seychelles this time, was also showered with praises.
